Feature request: default browser

Add an option (env, arg, etc.) for default browser:
Examples:

• --default-browser=NONE
• --default-browser=/Applications/Firefox.app
• --default-browser=/Applications/Safari.app

Which will disable the Open the URL in the default browser? prompt.

There is not a method of defaulting n at this time. However, you can avoid the prompt and allow the browser to automatically load with ibmcloud config --sso-otp=auto. But you will still have to interface with the browser. Does this help your scenario? Are you wanting no browser interaction and you get the code in some other way altogether?

Hi @steveclay thanks for your reply.

I need n to be the default because the machine with ibmcloud is not the same as the machine that ssh to it (the one with the browser).

Can your team implement such an option?

Unfortunately this solution is not showing the Get a one-time code from https://.../identity/passcode to proceed line anymore.
I still need the sso link and the One-time code > prompt in order to enter the code and log in.
