Persistence of loop PORTS

I've Replaced a solid setup with the RC.

I can configure the loopMIDI ports to work fine for this device. I cannot make it persistent across restarts.
At first the loopMIDI ports were muted?? Cubase reports not connected until I delete and re-do the ports
with MIDI remote.
