My name is Christine and I'm a software developer interested in
contributing to AboutCode as part of GSoC 2026.

About me:

• Intermediate Python developer (1–2 years experience)
• Experience with Django/backend web development
• Active open source contributor
• Also experienced with Kotlin/Android development

Projects I'm interested in:

1. VulnerableCode – specifically the incremental importer improvement
2. ScanCode.io – the directory browsing or CI/CD integration project

What I've done so far:

Questions for mentors:

• Which of these projects would be most suitable for an intermediate
  contributor?
• Are there any good "good first issues" I should tackle to get familiar
  with the codebase before submitting a patch?
• What level of detail is expected in the timeline section of the proposal?
