Hi @Pedroriera, Documents that prove your current student status include a picture of your school ID with current enrollment date, class schedule, transcript, and affiliation or enrollment verification letter. So you can try with any of the above documents or anything that can prove your current student status. If the photo is blurry, try again until it looks good as also indicated in the Student Developer Pack Application FAQs:
Make sure to fill in your billing info and GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. Then log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, because the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated. If you still get rejected, submit the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC. If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select " |

Hi everyone,
Hello everyone,
I need urgent help with a recurring technical issue while applying for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. I have been rejected multiple times due to documentation clarity problems, and I am now seeking community solutions.
1. The Critical Camera Issue 📸
The main obstacle is that the integrated camera feature on the GitHub verification page consistently captures an extremely blurry and pixelated photo of my student ID card.
I have tested this across multiple devices and browsers, but the result is always the same: the image captured by the GitHub page is illegible, leading to automatic rejection.
Crucially, the "Upload File" option is not appearing for me; I am only prompted to use the live in-page camera, which is malfunctioning.
Has anyone in the community found a working workaround to force the "Upload File" option, or a proven method to bypass this camera blur/compression issue?
2. Documentation and Language Issue
My university's name on my student ID is in Spanish. I believe the name is listed in the GitHub database in English, which is creating a verification failure.
I understand the requirement for a clear document and translation, but due to the persistent camera blur (Point 1), it is impossible to capture a clear photo of my Spanish ID card, even if I place a translation sheet next to it.
Is there an alternative document type (like a certificate of enrollment) that is accepted, or a specific method to handle this language discrepancy when the camera is malfunctioning?
Any tested solutions for the camera issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
