Issue Redeeming GitHub Certification Voucher: "That offer isn't available right now"

Hi GitHub Education Community,

I am writing to report an issue I am facing while trying to access the GitHub Certification offer included in the Student Developer Pack.

The Issue: When I attempt to retrieve the voucher code or access the offer details on the Student Developer Pack page (education.github.com/pack), I receive a blue banner error message at the top of the screen that says:

"That offer isn't available right now, please try again later."

Context:

• I am a verified student and have active access to the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
• I am trying to access the certification exam voucher.
• I have tried refreshing the page and checking back later, but the error persists.

I have attached a screenshot of the error for reference.

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently? Is there a known workaround,
or is the offer currently out of stock?

The message “That offer isn’t available right now, please try again later” usually means that the GitHub Certification voucher is temporarily unavailable. This typically happens when:

The available certification vouchers are out of stock

The offer is temporarily disabled by GitHub or the partner (Pearson VUE)

GitHub Education is updating or rotating partner offers

There is no known workaround at the moment.
The issue is not related to student verification, account status, or browser settings.

The only solution is to wait until GitHub re-enables the offer or replenishes the vouchers. GitHub usually restores such offers automatically without prior notice.

Alternative: Watch for Microsoft Cloud Skills Challenges, which frequently offer identical 100% off vouchers if the Student Pack remains empty.
