I am a verified student on GitHub, so, do you have any idea when the next coupons will open? This is the message being displayed, yet I'm unable to access it. "Current coupons expire on June 30, 2026. While supplies last." |

Yes, it is still free in 2026! The reason you can't find it easily is that GitHub recently moved their certification system to Microsoft Learn. To get it for free, you first need to be verified in the GitHub Student Developer Pack. Once you're in, go to the Foundations Certification Experience page and click 'Request a voucher code' to get a 100% discount. Then, when you schedule your exam on the Microsoft Learn site, just enter that code at the checkout to bring the price down to $0. Just a heads up—the current vouchers are valid until June 30, 2026, and they sometimes run out of monthly slots, so try to claim yours early in the month! |
