Student Developer Pack application keeps getting rejected despite valid transcript (full name, school name, active student, date of issue)

Hi everyone,

Hello,

My GitHub Student Developer Pack application has been rejected multiple times, and I think the automatic verification is failing incorrectly.

I submitted an official university transcript (bilingual Turkish/English) and it clearly includes:

• my full legal name
• full school name
• Active Student status
• Date of Issue (current date)

My GitHub profile name and billing name match my academic document exactly.

The rejection message still says my first/last name and current academic affiliation date could not be verified.

I already tried:

• applying from my university campus Wi-Fi
• using a clearer document
• using a transcript instead of only a student certificate

Has anyone had this issue recently? What is the best way to get this resolved?

That is really frustrating, especially when your documents clearly meet the requirements. Sometimes the automated system just flags things incorrectly you might have better luck opening a manual review ticket directly with GitHub Support and briefly explaining everything step-by-step. Hope it gets sorted soon. In the meantime, when I hit tech roadblocks like this, I just switch gears and relax with something simple like Pak Rummy Game Download APK to clear my head.

I have the same problem but unfortunately when you create a ticket, GitHub no longer allows you to create tickets regarding unapproved questions or on the status of questions

So at this point, what is the best way to resolve this if the automatic verification keeps rejecting valid documents?

I'm having the same exact issue with the AI validation. I'm rejected within seconds despite providing an unofficial transcript with all of the requested information. I even tried taking pictures of my university's actual registration portal where all the requested information (and more) is present, clearly showing I am enrolled as a student, and still get instantly rejected seemingly without any actual consideration. There's also no way for me to upload a document directly, which is a bummer because the photo submission mechanism takes my otherwise clear photos and compresses them to the point of it almost being blurry.

This is a great example of an AI implementation making a simple process so much more frustrating than it has to be. I would love any assistance as well!

I am having the exact same issue - I keep getting rejected even though my full name on the submitted document and in my billing information matches. It also claims that there is no date that signifies ongoing study on my document - except there very clearly is. Then as you said, they no longer support manual reviews of individual cases. So what am I meant to do? The AI very clearly isn't handling this properly and now there's nobody who can manually review it?

If rejections continue, open a support ticket with GitHub Education and attach your transcript so a human reviewer can check it directly.
