Hi there @itslsw ! Dealing with unexpected charges is incredibly frustrating, especially when you're stuck waiting on a support ticket. While you wait for GitHub Support to get back to you, here are a few of the most common culprits for "mystery" GitHub charges that might not show up on your primary subscription receipt:
What to check: If you own or manage any Organizations, check the billing page for each specific organization. The $390 might be on your personal account, while the $50 was charged to an org for things like extra Actions minutes, Codespaces, or LFS storage.
What to check: Go to your account settings and check the Marketplace or Billing and plans section. Subscriptions to third-party tools often show up as a separate line item and bill on different cycles.
What to check: Check your Sponsorships page. Sponsor payments are processed by GitHub but are often billed separately from your main account features. A $50 tier is a common sponsorship amount.
What to do next: Don't panic about the support delay! GitHub Support can sometimes take 1-2 weeks for non-enterprise billing inquiries, but they are generally very good at refunding accidental overcharges or clarifying exactly where the money went once they reply. Hang in there! Hopefully, it's just a misplaced invoice on an organization account. |

Hi,
I got GitHub Pro+ annual subscription and current usage is 83% for premium requests. How ever there is a 50$ payment deduction from the credit card with description as GitHub. But payment history shows only 390$ annual subscription. Is it possible that a extra 50$ charge could apply even when the there's 17% remaining in premium.
I've raised a ticket with GitHub but they haven't got back to me for more than a week now. If anyone has faced issues like this or knows the reason for something like this please lmk.
