Unable to access student verification - redirected to pricing page (previously tried Copilot)

Hi everyone,

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble applying for the GitHub Student Developer Pack and would appreciate some help.

Issue:

• When I try to access the student verification page via Settings → Billing and plans → GitHub Education
• I get redirected to github.com/pricing
• I cannot reach the page where I'm supposed to upload my student documents

Account background:

• My GitHub account was created in [month/year]
• I previously tried Copilot (free trial) [or specify if it was a paid subscription]
• My Copilot subscription is now cancelled (cancelled on [date])

What I've tried:

1. Enabled 2FA
2. Updated billing information with real name
3. Disabled VPN and allowed location access
4. Tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
5. Cleared cache and cookies
6. Directly visited https://github.com/settings/billing/summary#education-benefits
7. Waited 24 hours and tried again

My questions:

1. Does having previously tried Copilot prevent access to student verification?
2. Is there a way to reset my account's subscription status so I can apply?
3. Would creating a new account be the best solution?
