Hi,
We are integrating our application with a GitHub App. As part of this integration, at the time of registration, our application redirects users to GitHub App Manifest Registration page for authentication and to grant the required permissions.
The flow works correctly when the user already has an active GitHub login session in the browser. However, if the user does not have an active GitHub session, GitHub returns a 500 error instead of redirecting the user to the login page.
Based on our understanding, when a user is not logged in, github.com should redirect the user to the login page and, after successful authentication, continue the intended authorization flow. Instead, we are encountering a 500 error in this scenario.
Could you please help us understand why this is happening?
Thank you,

Srinivas
