Hello Good people of GitHub,

I have a query regarding the GitHub enterprise licence.

i am not able to assign Copilot enterprise license and only copilot business license only to my developers. May I know why this happens? Is it related to permission or cost or anything else?

u need a Copilot Enterprise subscription to assign Copilot Enterprise licenses if ur organisation only has copilot business u will only be able to assign business license

check ur license billing section and make sure Copilot Enterprise is included in your subscription and that you have the required permissions enabled
