The site works really well and is smooth. One thing that could be added was a small tooltip or something of the sort, that shows where the other participant is writing or typing in the code. This can be a basic colored cursor indicator as well rather than being at par with google docs or similar systems.

I've gone through the repo and I'm very much interested in contributing to this project. I find it really interesting and would love to work on implementing the collaborative cursor indicators feature.

My Approach to Issue #1:

• Socket.IO Events - Create cursor-move, cursor-join, cursor-leave events to broadcast position updates
• Cursor Rendering - Display colored cursor indicators with user labels using CSS and DOM manipulation
• Backend Integration - Extend existing Socket.IO to maintain user-cursor mapping per note room
• UX Enhancements - Assign unique colors, smooth transitions, fade on inactivity - maybe even unique emojis for users ;)

End Goal:

• Simple, performant collaborative cursor system
• Real-time presence awareness without visual distraction
• Lightweight Mobile-responsive design
