appimaged-x86_64.AppImage could not be executed

Running Manjaro Linux, I downloaded the appimaged.AppImage file and set it as executable, then ran:
$ ./appimaged-x86_64.AppImage --install

But I get this message:

Failed to execute process './appimaged-x86_64.AppImage'. Reason:
The file './appimaged-x86_64.AppImage' does not exist or could not be executed.

Happens every time, even tried to download the file again multiple times.

Are you on a x86_64 machine? And using a x86_64 distribution?
