Edited item does not load the submission form defined for its collection

Describe the bug

After setting a submission definition for a collection, editing an existing item in that collection does not load the submission form corresponding to the configured type.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Log in as a community administrator.
2. Set a submission definition for a collection.
3. Open an existing item in that collection for editing.
4. Observe which submission form is loaded.

Expected behavior

The edit page loads the submission form that matches the submission definition configured for the collection.
