On some browsers, social network Share action opens a new window

Describe the bug

In Safari, clicking the share functionality opens a new browser window instead of the expected share flow.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the application in Safari.
2. Navigate to a page with share functionality.
3. Click the Share action.
4. Observe the behavior.

Expected behavior

The share functionality opens in the new tab.

Hi @alegontarz, I wasn't able to replicate this issue; clicking all of the social share links including the "+" modal functioned the same as it did on Chrome. Would you be able to share a screenshot/video of the behavior you see, and maybe your version of Safari? Thank you!

Hi @alegontarz, thanks for sharing the Safari version and video. Also I apologize - I had originally thought this referred to a difference in the new window links or appearance, but realized it refers to windows opening instead of new tabs. I can confirm I actually observe the Share links open in a new window regardless of browser or settings (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari).

I'm still not certain whether that is a bug or expected behavior for the new Share links feature however. @pzlakowski, since you ported this functionality do you have an opinion on whether this needs to be addressed? Thanks!
