Thanks for your interest, i'm really thrilled!

Sadly, i'd currently advise against that, as i'm in the process of rewriting the frontend to a new and more modular system.
It is the main culprit for the installation being so complex, as it requires a full node-js/angularjs development environment on the target machine :-(

This frontend build complexity will be eliminated in the next major version, which i hope to be able to publish in the next months - a lot of work has already gone into that.

For better visibility of this process, i'll add some milestones to HFOS' issue tracker.
