⚠️ Deprecation Notice ⚠️
This repository is deprecated. All future updates and new API collections will continue through Postman. Please visit the Google Maps Platform Postman Workspace for the most up-to-date information.
To view and interact with the Google Maps Platform API collections, visit our official Postman Public Workspace:
You can export an OpenAPI 3.0 or 2.0 specification directly from the Postman collection.
- Open the Google Maps Platform Postman Collections.
- Locate the collection you wish to export (e.g., Google Maps Platform Core APIs, Google Maps Route Optimization APIs, etc.).
If you want to modify or save the collection to your own workspace:
- Click the Fork icon (three dots next to the collection).
- Provide a label and choose your workspace.
- Be sure to "watch" the collection for any updates as they are published
- In the Postman sidebar, expand Collections.
- Click the "View more actions" icon (three dots) next to the collection.
- Select More > Generate specification.
- Provide a name for your specification.
- Choose your preferred file format: YAML or JSON.
- Click Generate Specification.
You can then view and download the generated specification!
We welcome contributions to the Postman collections! Since we use Postman's built-in version control, you can propose changes similarly to Git.
- Open the collection you want to contribute to in the public workspace.
- Click the Fork icon to create a copy in your own workspace.
- Update the requests, parameters, or documentation within your forked collection.
- Once your changes are ready, click on your forked collection.
- Find the Contribute or "Create Pull Request" option.
- Review your changes, add a title and description, and submit the request.
