I wrote this code a while back and tested it as well as I thought reasonable at the time. It is a middleware adapter to handle v1-style itemset requests. This is the second request to pull it in. It does not break any of the unit tests. @kornypoet or @dhruvbansal, please take a look and say yea or nay.
