Become a sponsor to Tokio
Tokio is an asynchronous runtime for the Rust programming language. The team maintains the runtime and useful tools for building networking services, including HTTP, gRPC, tracing, and byte manipulation utilities.
Tokio is a non-profit project. We are looking for funds to sponsor contributors who are not already employed to do so. We will also use the funds to pay for software, hardware, and SaaS services that support improvements to Tokio.
Toasty is an async ORM and application-level query engine being built as part of the Tokio ecosystem (github.com/tokio-rs/toasty). This goal will fund contributors to work on Toasty at a sustainable rate. The async Rust ecosystem needs solid database tooling, and Toasty aims to fill that gap with an ORM designed specifically for async/await from the ground up.
